Production and sale of Tuscan extra virgin olive oil
Tuscan Olive Oil is part of the traditional cuisine of our region, and is combined to most of our dishes: starters, first courses, soups, meat or fish based main courses, salads, etc…
The best way to appreciate its essential flavour is on tuscan bread.
Poured raw in the most traditional receipe of ‘Fettunta’(literally oiled slice) or “Bruschetta”, as it is called according to the different areas.
The ‘Poggiola’ Agriturismo takes care of its own Tuscan extra Vergin Olive Oil, and it boasts an Olive grove of about 2000 secular Olives of various traditional species: Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino and Moraiolo.
Le Poggiola offers its Guests the chance to taste its Olive Oil during their stay.
Also, the Oil can be purchased directly at the Farm, during the afternoons between Tuesday and Saturday.
For the Christmas season we can prepare gift wrappings.
