It’s the time of year to gather in the grapes and think about..perhaps even drink…wine. Let’s welcome in the new harvest a little differently this year.
Come and join us in our cellar to celebrate the marriage of our delicious, traditional Le Poggiola wine with the latest tasty fashions in clothes, hairstyles and beauty.
You’ll be able to enjoy the latest trends and fashions in colours and styles, while hair-stylists I Romani International and beauticians Gaudia Day from Monsummano Terme will be on hand to show you how to look great this
But that’s not all.
You can also enjoy our organic wines and other produce – wine, jam and other delights, all helped along by a bit of music and celebratory fun. Come and join us to discover the love and skill with which an authentic wine is created…and, above all, how it tastes.
If you want, you can buy a bit of what takes you fancy and take it home with you.

In December, we press the grapes that have been dried on reed mats from September to make a sweet wine, we serve at the end of a meal with the traditional almond biscuits soaked in.
Do you know the Origin of the name?

- Another version say that during the Council of Florence in 1439, the greek Bessarion proclaimed, as he was drinking this wine: “This is the wine of Xantos!”, Perhaps referring to some sweet wine
This wine is traditional in central Italy and in Tuscany this wine is considered the wine of hospitality that is offered when you have a guest.

15 November: the Season of Fly fishing in our lake is Started
We have open the season of Fly fishing, Thursday the rainbow trouts are put into the lake by The Valdinievole Mosca Club.
Lunch at the lake with grilled sausages, cheese, bruschetta with the New Organic Extra virgin olive oil, red Organic wine.

As asked by My guests here is the recipe for my pumpkin soup!
Ingredients for 4 people
500g pumpkin, 2 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 clove of garlic, Extra virgin olive oil (virgin), 100 ml of tomato sauce, thyme, rosemary, toasted bread into small pieces, salt and pepper, chili if pleasing, parmesan.
Clean the pumpkin and let diced, peeled the potatoese and do the same thing, fry the chopped onion and a clove of garlic private soul (you digest better) in a pot with a little ‘oil, when it becomes blonde add the diced pumpkin and potatoes, salt and leave to soften. Add the tomato, and a little of water (better if you did a little vegetable broth with celery, carrot and onion) and cook for 30 min. You can also use the pressure cooker (if you do quicker just 10 minutes from when whistles).
When it cooked reduced to a soup with an immersion blender. Season with salt and add your favorite perfumes, I like to put the rosemary and thyme. “Bruscate” bread on the fireplace (or oven) and cut it into cubes. You can sprinkle with Parmesan and add a “C” of olive oil, add bread to taste.
